DNA test 'proves Fischer not girl's father'

Wonder who gets the money now?

"His estate is estimated at $2m (£1.4m)."

Does anyone know where his money came from?

Or they sampled the wrong person's DNA... It was reported they dug a hole next to the grave and just drilled into the coffin, which doesn't seem the right way to go about it. The report might have been garbage of course.

Icelandic law will decide the destination of the money.

I believe I read in a subsequent report that that's exactly what it was.

No respect for the dead.
But Mr Fischer will live for quite a while in our hearts.

Yeah, but I still wonder where the money came from. What did he get for winning the World Championship?

Oh, doh! It would be the money from the rematch with Spassky. The money the US are trying to claw back and which got him into trouble with them in the first place.
