So it looks like Topalov will soon be undisputed WC, then. Marvellous

It's perhaps a tad early to suggest that?

I'm not sure that "WC" are appropriate initials given the Toiletgate scandal in Topalov's last World Championship match.

Maybe so - but then again given that the match is a paltry 12 games, plus the fact that Topa has home advantage plus many, many other things stacked in his favour, perhaps not.........

Put it this way, if Vishy comes back from this, he will deserve all the accolades he will get

Not sure if this is going on elsewhere.

Back on level terms. Very impressive. Shades of Kramnik, style-wise!

....Bxb4 by Topalov was astonishing, I thought and reminiscent of some similarly (relatively) unforced blunders in his match v Kramnik.

What is your suggested alternative to 35...Bxb4? My analysis engine tells me this is the best of a (very bad) job. Otherwise White can check with Ra8 and trundle the a4 pawn down the board, can't he? I haven't listened to the commentary today but I thought Topalov seemed to lose the thread between moves 22 and 25.

Hmm, I was thinking in the context of the match as a whole - but yes, nice reply from Anand :D

GAME ON!!

Fritz seems to think that Topalov was considerably better for most of the game, but went astray slightly with 24..h5 and more seriously with 25...Ne3, after which he was worse, and maybe even lost.

On TWIC Mark Crowther says he is delaying putting the moves up "out of respect to the organisers". What is this all about?

FIDE undoubtedly have made people think they hold rights to stop people showing the moves of a chess game again.
