Berkshire Chess Association 2026 AGM

Somewhat late in this place is the following notice:
Dear All,
The Berkshire Chess Association Annual General Meeting for 2026 will take place on Monday, September 7th at
Community Centre, Yeovil Road, Sandhurst, Berkshire, GU47 0TF commencing at 7.30pm prompt.
Please attempt to arrive no later than 7.15pm to secure your car parking space and plastic chair for what is always a hugely popular meeting: some would say the AGM of the year.
We have attached a significant number of documents that we would ask you to study BEFORE the meeting. I realise it is traditional to ignore these and wait for the meeting to explain them to you but there is considerable detail to work through. There is a mixture of Rules documents, Officers Reports, the 2026 AGM agendum, 2025 AGM minutes and captains guidelines.
Reports from various officers have been requested and we will send these also to you in the run-up to the AGM so that we do not have to read them out on the night. Apologies but I know everyone looks forward to hearing them read out in minute (including the minutes) detail.
