You might wonder if they intend to take this further. For example chess Grand Masters v ordinary chess players or non chess players. Mathematicians v the rest. Not nearly as different as the headline suggests, in fact. Rippon does not question that the researchers have found what they claim to have found.
I was most interested to read "It is perfectly plausible that there may be sex-related differences in how brains are shaped by social experiences". Five years ago she famously described any such idea as "neurofoolishness".
