Montague GM norm tournament

Post by Nick Burrows » Sun Jan 29, 2023 12:10 am

Anyone know if this took place?

Leonard Barden mentioned it in his FT column, but I can't locate it.

I think it might be Montague on the Gardens a hotel close to Covent Garden who are a sponsor of the new London Chess congresses circuit but I can't see the reference to the GM tournament.

It was cancelled about a week before the start date as multiple players failed to get their visas in time.
