cheats grind you down....
there is a misinterpretation of how cheating affects a human player. its not through a tactic usually a modern computer gets you but you make a mistake in an overwhelming position as you have been turned passive by theyre accuracy.

Well you could argue they only grind you down if you let them.

does a real man defeat computers easily, i know i am not a communist (ie self destructive in nature) and I am not a libertarian (self satisfied) but i am am not a conservative(self aware) either which leaves only a liberal or nazi and i am not a nazi-liberals like themselves so much that they love everyone even computers and to love is to give.

Is any subject more boring than other people's political leanings?

I might need to create a special Alan Llewellyn section to contain all these posts.

Funnily enough Carl, I was about to make the very same suggestion.Carl Hibbard wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 4:54 pmI might need to create a special Alan Llewellyn section to contain all these posts.

What about just leaving decisions to Carl rather than all piling in on this one? Its probably kinder.

Please Carl take some sort of action
This forum is very useful to exchange chess ideas and input news
It is wrong that any individual should be allowed to hijack the forum with constant ramblings most of which have little or nothing to do with chess

Alan, let me rephrase: I don't believe you're a racist, or rambling, or hijacking the forum. I'm not allowed to say why I think that, but I think the people bullying you can work it out.AlanLlewellyn wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 4:43 ami believe there is a concerted campaign against me i suspect from self destructive communists who dont like my anti-communism

If you want to discuss communism, do so in the Not Chess! section, thank you. (Unless you're actually discussing the impact of communism on chess, which would be a fine topic for the Chess History section.)AlanLlewellyn wrote: ↑Thu Aug 18, 2022 4:43 ami believe there is a concerted campaign against me i suspect from self destructive communists who dont like my anti-communismJohn Sellen wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 11:35 pm"I might need to create a special Alan Llewellyn section to contain all these posts."

Best leaving Alan to his own devices IMO. I don’t see that he’s doing any particular harm, and it’s not like he’s being seriously disruptive by creating hundreds of new forum threads.
He’s acknowledged on a number of occasions that it’s a form of therapy for him.
