Post by AlanLlewellyn » Thu Jul 28, 2022 1:28 am

I have entered the london classic superrapidplay
Nakamura won it and it had about 80 titled players involved including some super grandmasters like nakamura, i came 282 or so out of 412 it was in 2014 and i got 4/10.
i also entered the isle of man masters but did rather badly i will post my two games vs titled players there proper games.(see below)
i have been in the major open at the brits once and scored 3/11 and the welsh champs open major twice scoring 2/7 and 2.5/7

Was the Fluxometer used by Dr. Emmett Brown or possibly Dr. Peter Venkman?

I dont get the joke John Upham, flux is a term used in physics and i assumed the wand used to detect devices used flux measuring equipment which will detect any possible electronic possibility ever of the use of a device, even if its switched off now. I have a degree in physics.

You have never seen back to the future or Ghostbusters? Pretty well known films, I thought, you should definitely treat yourself to a viewing sometime.

Dark Star brewery produce excellent beers. The brewery is now owned by Fullers which means Hophead is more widely available, but I accept not yet in Barrow.

Sounds interesting, I'll have to look out for them. Good ales are getting harder to come by these days - loads of breweries are wrecking them by putting far too much acidic flavours which I find completely ruins the taste - pubs already supplied cut lemon for 'those types' that just can't make their drink bitter enough, we don't need it pervading everything!
