Hi Justin,

That is because they differ from region to region.

In some parts of the soon to be Republic of Scotland they play on a 6x6 board
with no King or Queen and anyone who plays the English opening risks getting a belt in the jaw.

Cornwall forbids 'en passant' saying they want none of that French nonsense here.

The Manchester league has a no hoodie and no mask policy.
Players are scanned not for electrical devices but for firearms.

When we play at Preston Chess Club we take coats, hats and scarfs to play in because it so cold upstairs in the Jalgos pub.
I also always remember to take the sunshine with me from Blackpool.
