Do they have to be made to that specification? Never heard that before.

Did you spot the intermittent appearance of the Agon logo in the video? Also the "loo seat" Knights and the similarity of the head designs for King and Queen. Whether what's left of Agon's contract with FIDE continues to specify the Agon design or whether any Staunton style design would suffice isn't known to me.
