In March 2020 there was a regrettable announcement from EGW that Chess Notes was, at least, being paused.
Since then various CNs have been updated which is clearly welcome and so the pausing announcement seemed somewhat premature.

I notice BCM (search for 'Yates') and CHESS (search for 'Legends') have also transgressed at times (with people who post here mentioned in passing as part of the editorial side of those magazines).

The Yates suicide article must be the most cringeworthy article I saw in BCM. Brian Reilly (and many others) would have been appalled. To conflate Edward Lasker and Emmanuel Lasker wasn't much better.Christopher Kreuzer wrote: ↑Fri Feb 05, 2021 9:06 pmI notice BCM (search for 'Yates') and CHESS (search for 'Legends') have also transgressed at times (with people who post here mentioned in passing as part of the editorial side of those magazines).
