Attractive graphics, if you like that sort of thing.
I'm not smart enough to comment on the numbers used - others will be

That was surprisingly good, I was expecting it to be one of those highly subjective ranking lists but it is just straight facts presented in an interesting format. It seemed like the peak age for chess powers seems to be mid 30s - so we may not have even seen the best of magnus carlsen yet !
Lose one queen and it is a disaster, Lose 1000 queens and it is just a statistic.

I don't think we have seen the best of him. He seems to be aware that his opponents are usually afraid of him, thus he doesn't need to be at his peak. Until he loses his title, which may happen out of his own complacency, we won't see the best of him. But I strongly suspect if someone does take his title off him they are in for one hell of a hiding.

Thanks Andy, It is addictive viewing and very well done.

It's only after seeing that I realised Karpov had been in the top two for 21 years!

Do not sound aghast at this sudden revelation, I've never worshipped at the alter of ratings like some do, I'm a grading atheist!
The way this is presented is pleasing, seeing the names of the greats tumbling and juggling about then dropping out of sight.

January 1989 seems to have been the best year for U.K. chess with Short, Speelman and Nunn making it into the top 10. Again some will
be stunned I did not know this. I didn't, I do not need a number to tell me who is a good player. Everyone over 2200 is a good player. (I am 2199).

Music is awful, would have been better with the 'Tea for Two Cha Cha ' (watch it again and do the dah, dah-dah, dah dah's. it works.)
