And many apologies for failing to notice that the CC IM, Graham Russell Mitchell got CB and OBE, due to his career in MI5.

One assumes that in the midst of 18 year old Luke the Nuke being awarded the MBE for "Services to Darts" and another sundry 1,200 awards that there are no mentions of chess? I see that Elaine Page has been appointed a Dame - so at least there is some connection to Chess albeit slight.
