Chess book collection for sale: 149 volumes for £500

Post by Tristan Clayton » Sun Jul 10, 2016 7:09 pm

Finally getting round to selling the rest of my chess book collection: 149 books in total. No time to list them, so pics will have to do, but feel free to PM me with any questions.

All are in extremely good condition, most covered in protective plastic. Well over a grand's worth here, selling for £500.

Far too heavy to ship, so you'll need to collect from me (SW London, zone 4). Cup of tea and a friendly game thrown in as a bonus.

Price is non-negotiable; hagglers will find the price going in the opposite direction.

They would not be too heavy to ship, so you could list them on other auction sites...

Too many opening books... :)

Couldn't you have left it until you had got a 150th book? ;)

There was going to a be a 150th book, but you wouldn't believe the trouble I had getting one translated into Farsi.

I suspect that could - and probably should - be chiseled on all our gravestones when we finally peg it.

Are you only selling them as a job lot? or will you sell individual titles?

Although I've had some interest in these books, I'm still looking for a buyer. All 149 are still available, and I'm dropping the price to £400. Still only looking to sell the entire collection, and pick-up direct from me is the only delivery option. PM me if you're interested.
