Some interesting-looking books there.

One by this person:

https://hu.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brilla- ... %C3%A1ndor

Hungarian ICC Grandmaster Brilla-Bánfalvi Sándor.

Also a copy of the tournament book for the 1906 Nuremberg (DSB Congress). Really shouldn't be on a brick floor. It is around 116 years old! (Not sure when it was actually published.)

Also the 1959 Candidates Tournament book by Gligoric and Ragosin, the book being the subject of this blog post:

https://dgriffinchess.wordpress.com/202 ... c-ragozin/

If someone gets those for free, that is a bargain!

Thanks John

Appreciate the additional pictures. I already have a lot of the German Sport Verlag openings books which were published in the 60s and 70s so I shall leave your books for someone else. Can I just add that the Gligoric and Ragozin book on the Candidates mentioned by Chris is an excellent book.

The book by Grodzenszkij and Romanov is up on Abebooks for £52 in case that means anything.

Levelezési sakk is Hungarian for correspondence chess, which is not surprising given the provenance. Hopefully a good home awaits at least some of them.

Funnily enough I extracted the Bled Candidates book myself as well as the other very early one but thanks for the verification of their value.

The rest are pretty mundane I'd say but am no expert.
