Forum Advertisment Request
If at all possible I would be grateful to the members to advertise this forum via this new domain on their own websites
http://www.ecforum.org.uk/
This will both increase the presence and remove any of the old domain references
Thanks

Carl,
It would be a pleasure. Is there a logo to go with the link?
Regards,
Sean

Re: Forum Advertisment Request
I have long since posted a link to this excellent forum from BCM's links page - http://www.bcmchess.co.uk/links.html
I have now added a link to the English Chess Forum on BritBase's links page - http://www.saund.co.uk/britbase/about.htm - as I have written next to the link, I would be happy to discuss BritBase issues on this forum (rather than setting up a separate one).

I would be happy to create a specific BritBase as a new section on the home page if you think it would help?John Saunders wrote:I have long since posted a link to this excellent forum from BCM's links page - http://www.bcmchess.co.uk/links.html

Thank you for that helpful and generous suggestion. Yes, perhaps it is a good idea. Shall we give it a go? I would particularly like people's corrections to game scores they find on both Britbase and Mega/Big (and other commercial) databases. British and Irish games only.

Thanks, Carl. Perhaps the sub-title could be "Feedback, suggestions and corrections for the British chess games archive, Britbase (www.saund.co.uk/britbase)".

As before a repeated request - if you are responsible over an English chess site then please consider advertising the forum, the more members the better as alwaysCarl Hibbard wrote:If at all possible I would be grateful to the members to advertise this forum via this new domain on their own websites

There is a lot of "Guests" reading the ECF matters topics, however you could sign up as well and try to have a say
