John - There is a problem with the league 1 table.
Lots of teams have got games points without having played a match

Camberley A 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 . 0
Camberley B 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 . 0
Crowthorne A 0 0 0 0 2.5 3.5 -1 . 0
Bracknell A 0 0 0 0 2.5 3.5 -1 . 0
Newbury A 0 0 0 0 2.5 3.5 -1 . 0
Sandhurst A 0 0 0 0 2.5 3.5 -1 . 0
Maidenhead A 0 0 0 0 2.5 3.5 -1 . 0
Reading B 1 0 0 1 2.5 3.5 -1 . 0

The BCA web site now has the final version of the new divisional structure

See http://www.berkshirechess.org.uk/

plus the new time control options for Divisions One and Two

These are Fischer 80 + 10 and G90.

The default is still 75/30+15 and an option to get other people helping you with moves 90/36+adj exists only as an option.

So, if you are one of those people who likes to use clock winding back as means to conning juniors into getting more time then you can still do it!

Following an enthralling fixtures meeting (that I was unable to attend) the fixtures for the new season have been imported and made live. :D

Following an enthralling fixtures meeting (that I was [again once more] unable to attend as my hair needed washing) the fixtures for the new season have been imported and made live. :D

See http://www.berkshirechess.org.uk/

A new feature is that by clicking the ical icon one can import all fixtures for a team or for a club into ones calendar/diary.

I've tried to get it to work with the lovely ECF diary but failed and had to use a "pen" or "pencil".

If you manage to find the ical item for a team. I don't think its location, which I have now tracked down, is very intuitive. I selected all the fixtures for a team by filtering the entire league's fixture list on a single team and expected to find it there, but there was no sign of it.

Will you be providing an electronic rubber and pencil so I can correct all those ical fixtures, now in Outlook, that show matches starting an hour early? :)

I'd be curious to know what the ical payload shows for the start times?

For me using Outlook 2006 they start at the default time for the Leagues unless the venue overrides this start time.

Mine appear to start at 7.30pm throughout.

I had a few testers try it also. Perhaps you could save the ical file and examine the payload for me?

The problem is almost certainly BST/GMT related - all the fixtures that occur while we are on BST are an hour early. GMT fixtures are at the correct time. All entries in the ical file have the correct start time of 19:30. I'm using Outlook 2003 SP3. The problem doesn't occur if I import the fixtures into Lotus Notes.

I've addressed the elusive icon issue.

If you select a club or a team from the main Future fixtures option you are presented with the icon at the top of the page to allow the import for the club or team.

Not done this for the division option as I can't see anyone wanting to import all fixtures for a particular division.

Hope this is useful and thanks for the feedback Ian.
