Britweb Link Update

Post by Tryfon Gavriel » Tue May 20, 2008 11:46 am

Hi all

I have updated many of the links on Britweb on this page:

http://www.gtryfon.demon.co.uk/bcc/Uk_c ... ations.htm

If I have missed out any clubs, please reply here. I am now in the process of adding clubs missed. My first phase of the update was simply to try and resolve the broken links.

Best wishes

I will try and add these soon.

Hi, you don't appear to have a Derbyshire section:

Derbyshire Chess Association - http://www.derbyshirechess.btik.com/
Spondon Chess Club - http://www.spondonchess.org.uk/
Derby & Mickleover Chess Club - http://www.derbychessclub.co.uk/
Lichfield Chess Club - http://www.lichfieldchess.org.uk/

Thanks,
Dean

Thank you both

I have updated the suggested links - and also updated the leagues page as well, so Britweb's front page also reflects this now :

Tryfon,
Why not logged in users to update URLs?

If the list is stored in a database then this would be easy peasy and increase the added value.

Can you integrate the post codes for the venues with the Google Maps API?

I'm sure that this is no more than a few hours work!?
