Hopefully there will be some updates providing information about Lancashire Chess Association's plans for 2021.Simon Rogers wrote: ↑Sat Dec 05, 2020 8:10 pmThe last post on the Lancashire Chess Association website was 16th April 2020, when the death of Richard Collins was reported.
One of them would be whether they've made a go/no go decision on the 2021 Blackpool Congress. With the 2020 Blackpool being an event of the last weekend before the shutdown, it would mark an anniversary of sorts were it cancelled, as would seem probable. Whilst there are plans to roll out the vaccines, there appear no published plans to lift restrictions on people meeting in parallel with vaccination.Paul Robert Jackson wrote: ↑Sun Dec 06, 2020 10:30 amHopefully there will be some updates providing information about Lancashire Chess Association's plans for 2021.

Does anyone know what is going on there? i mention this a long time ago, that you need to talk to the clubs and not run the association like a dictatorship.Paul Robert Jackson wrote: ↑Sat Jan 16, 2021 10:22 amSimon,Paul Robert Jackson wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 10:38 amNo updates from Lancashire Chess Association
