Shropshire Chess Association is delighted to present a simul with Michael Adams on Saturday 1 March 2014 in Telford. We have a maximum of 40 boards, with 30 booked so far. The event will be held at what is now our regular venue, Wrekin Housing Trust in Telford, and will include a blitz event and lecture by Michael, with our legendary food to keep you all sustained. Players and spectators very welcome.

Thanks for setting this up this thread Lawrence, hope some managed to enjoy the live games. We aim to post some of the other games on the Shropshire website in due course.
We are very grateful to Mickey Adams for coming to Shropshire for a lovely event yesterday. In the simul, he won 32, drew three and lost one, and finished us off in under four and a half hours. An interesting lecture too, which even included a Berlin endgame, and some clear advice on interpreting opposite bishop endings with rooks on the board.
