Not wishing to pull you up on typos .................
is "Sadlincote" possibly "Swadlincote" and "Neport" more likely to be "Newport"?
One further point - whilst I've spent many years losing to the representatives of Gambit including both those mentioned here , it might be useful to actually add "Nottingham" to the title (which is the full club name) so that forum readers who are not conversant where the club is located will recognise that they hail from the city known as "the Queen of the Midlands". All the other prize winners are identifiable by area though Newport could be one of several.

This is the mystery bug which inflicts e2e4 cross tables from time to time, the disappearing w.
The Hinckley Major had a player from Warickshire as well as one from Neport (Salop), not to mention Leisham, Dulich and igston.

The club name is that supplied by the player. If they say Gambit, we say Gambit. If they say Gambit Nottingham, then so do we.Neil Graham wrote:One further point - whilst I've spent many years losing to the representatives of Gambit including both those mentioned here , it might be useful to actually add "Nottingham" to the title (which is the full club name) so that forum readers who are not conversant where the club is located will recognise that they hail from the city known as "the Queen of the Midlands". As long as there isn't a 'w' in the club name
