This event was won jointly by GM Nigel Davies, alongside Peter Finn and James Merriman on 4.5/5. Not sure if a tiebreak was applied.
Impressive result from James - it looks like he finished half a point ahead of his dad, FM John Merriman (I assume they are father and son from here).
The shock result was Hebden falling to a third round defeat. Davies and Merriman junior drew.
