Frome and Newmarket Opens

I don't normally report my results on here, but I won both of these Opens with interesting last round games. At Frome I got to 5/5 with this curiosity against Jane Richmond.

On Sunday morning at Newmarket Neil Bradbury won the battle of the IMs against the very strong Alan Merry, and this left Neil (4/4) and myself ( 3.5) to fight it out for first place.

We arrived at my favourite Carlsbad structure, complete with the usual ingredients: exchanging of the light squared Bishops, the replacing of the Bishop with a Knight on d3, getting rid of the Queens to minimise counterplay on the Kingside; advancing b5 to create a weakness on c6 and then advancing the Kingside pawns in order to try and create a second weakness ( this time on g7). Here is the game:
