European Chess Leagues have teams from towns or cities and that's how they are usually named - boring. The 4ncl is different because a lot of team names are often made up after a night down the local, Sambuca Sharks etc. So I was pleasantly amused to see the results of the 2013 USA Amateur Team East Championships (personal favourites 20, 26, 27 and 32):
