Regarding the revised draw for Division 3, how are triangular matches organised?

The three teams are split in two halves, and on three boards team A plays team B, and on the other three team C. Teams B and C are playing each other on the remaining three boards. The next day they swap so that the members of team A who played team B instead play team C etc.

I can't remember how the colours are divided, but I seem to remember that you get 2 whites and 1 black, and 1 white and 2 blacks, so that the team plays 3 games of each colour on both days (rather than playing all 6 with white on day 1 and all 6 black on day 2). Furthermore, I believe the normal colour division is kept (so that boards 1, 3 and 5 have one colour and boards 2, 4 and 6 the other).

For this to work in terms of colours and ensuring that you get three proper six board matches between all three teams the boards have to be offset, so that on day 1 boards 1, 3, and 5 of team A play boards 2, 4 and 6 of team B; while boards 2, 4, 6 of team A play boards 1, 3 and 5 of team C; and boards 1, 3, 5 of team B play boards 2, 4 and 6 of team C.

Ok, thanks Ola, I'm glad I'm not one of the control team!

And now we don't have a triangular match after all!

And then it was on again! I noticed that remembered the board splits incorrectly (see 4NCL website)
