IM Stefan Docx apparently caught on his phone with Stockfish open during a game in the Benidorm Open; https://mobile.twitter.com/vlad_chess/status/1601920204275175430 I was reading some interesting comments from Belgium GM Luc Winants on FB regarding Docx. Despite being caught multiple times for mo...

Re: Is Lawrence Trent a tough guy?

Chess Boxing rules which have been around since 1992! Hadn't realised that you had to be rated at least 1800 to compete. It's interesting to read the rules and compare it to another fight that was on the same card between one of the Botez sisters, Andrea and WGM Dina Belenkaya. Andrea was clearly th...

In football checkmate doesn't end the game whil...

Re: Carlsen resigns on move 2

Reuters report that Chess.com are making filings to the US Federal Court to get Niemann's lawsuit thrown out. The basis of their argument seems to be that Chess.com haven't said anything defamatory and as Niemann is a confessed cheat you can't believe anything he says.

Lovely finish by Niemann against Moridiabadi. Could have been used for coaching as a tactical training problem. For those that haven't seen it ... Black to play.
