So, to clarify, you are confirming that you didn't personally inform the arbiters you were withdrawing? You left it to a couple of other people and took no personal responsibility for your actions? And, clearly, the message didn't get through?

So, ultimately, it was a "storm in a T-shirt" and good sense has prevailed.
