1850,Minor and Open are all 200 miles plus apart so much to be discussed on either 5 mid-points or 1 central venue given there is only 4 weeks to organise venues/transport/accomodation

Re: Cheating in chess

Lots of denial on here ...as in other parts of our chess community ...I would say 93% 'hit' rate for a casual sleuth is fairly successful ...not 'proud' but these cheats need rooting out or online chess competitively remains tainted...and yes some players on both main platforms(including an old coll...

Re: Cheating in chess

The point of my original post is the mapping of all the things together ...I am stronger in all forms of the game than those I have described so benchmarking all aspects highlights the extraordinary allowing greater focus to be put on their games etc....Someone achieving 2850 on the Chess.com puzzle...

Re: Cheating in chess

..130 graders with sub-1000 blitz and over 1900 rapid and 2800+ puzzle rating... On this specific example, can you expand on what is unusual? For a junior, 130/1900 is very plausible, and I would not be shocked by 2500+ on puzzle on chess.com. As for blitz, some players hate blitz and suck at it. O...

Re: Cheating in chess

Sadly cheating is also rife in County Online although not too much being said about it - I have been sleuthing on Chess.com last few weeks and have reported 21 players so far of whom 18 have been banned (not all ECF Online by any means) - This includes a couple from my own County and several from ou...
