Upgrade from Bronze to Silver Membership?
I took out a Bronze membership, but now want to upgrade to Silver
Is there an option to do this on the Justgo membership page?
Renew or Add Membership seem to be the only options?
Many thanks.

Re: WHERE IN THE UK TO PLAY CHESS?
Peter, I'm afraid the ONLY way you're going to improve is to play games, get beat, (many times) and ask your opponent afterwards where you went wrong. You'll find most players will gladly point out your errors. In all honesty, I don't think it would take very long to reach lower (and a competitive) ...

Paysubs Online
I may be missing something obvious, but how is it possible to add many members details without 'the session timed out' happening? So when I tried to do it again, all my members details are now saved, but I'm unable to continue to payment as the form says the member name and email already exists? Any...

Only in America.... look around any tournament hall and you'll see all manner of 'oddbods'.... then again, they might have a point!

Re: Resignation Rumours
Yet again chess is in turmoil
It seems beset with infighting, one step forward, two steps back!
Modernisation and fresh ideas are badly needed for the ECF to progress.

Do chess forums 'work?'
This is the National forum, yet only a handful of people 'pipe up' Chess has an abnormally high percentage of anti-social types, or eccentrics if you will, I believe this stereotype is partially to blame as to why chess forums will never be busy places. Many players have little or no interest in any...

Re: Chess on TV
The ECF has a Director of maketing, that has to be the starting point surely? Blitz and rapidplay are the only formats that would work on TV. With a good presenter like Danny King it could work, it could be like a chess variety show, with small segments on players, history, tournaments, openings and...

Re: An average of 10 people use this forum (if not less)
What we have here folks is a classic case of 'chess apathy' This place should be buzzing, but chess players are a very reserved bunch in my experience. Its like pulling teeth trying to get a response from the vast majority of them! :( Carl you have my deepest sympathy, as a fellow forum admin (a for...

Please check us out at http://www.peterleechessclub.co.uk CHESS NE1 is hosted by Peterlee CC. The 'crack' is obviously of a North East flavour, but 'foreigners' are more than welcome, hav...
